WHY TIGER 131? (April 16, 2018 3:59 pm)

A rare chance to see what it’s like inside the running Tiger 131. The clip shows a short test run of Tiger 131 at the Tank Museum in Bovington, England.

The 23 litre Maybach engine is now running superbly after a total rebuild by specialists at SdKfz in May 2006. This video was taken just after the rebuild in 2007.

Discover more about Tiger 131 and its relatives at The Tiger Collection exhibition, opening in April 2017. See Tiger 131 in action at Tiger Day on the 29th April and 16th September.
